  1. A indicates Class G cement, B indicates Class G cement plus bentonite (39 g cement to 1 g bentonite), and Brine indicates 1.8 molal NaCl, 0.55 molal CaCl2 and 0.1 molal MgCl2 solution. Note that brine pH values are conditional (c) because of the high ionic strength.
