Pyrite loadings of 100 g/L were used in all experiments. R _max for each experiment set: A is 10.3 μM/hr, B is 4.69 μM/hr, C is 16.3 μM/hr, D is 18.9 μM/hr. Results illustrate the lack of first-order dependence of degradation as a function on the disappearance of Phe.
