Spherical aggregate of synthetic jarosite with arsenic (SEM, secondary electrons). It has been reported that the potassium jarosite contains more arsenic in its structure than the sodium jarosite [8]. The spherical geometry is due to the fact that the particles were obtained by the precipitation technique with mechanical stirring; such geometry, as well as the compact structure are excellent parameters for heterogeneous kinetics studies.
